African  painting "Maiden and Warrior" was painted by the artist as an impression of Africa after her visit to Kenya last year. 

Having spent her childhood in both India and East Africa the artist aims "to reflect the rich and unique array of sounds, smells  and colour from these continents" in all that she paints 

This painting shows a beautiful young couple in front of their house. In Africa Maidens are young girls ripe for marriage and Warriors are the male equivalent.

It is a very energetic, highly spirited and bright work.

Perfect for decorating and would make an excellent gift.
